The Fox Oakland Theatre is a 2,800-seat theater, located at 1807 Telegraph Ave. in Uptown Oakland. The building was originally opened in 1928, was closed in 1970 and reopened in 2009. It also houses the Oakland School for the Arts (OSA) and is on the register of National Historic Places. The Fox is managed by Another Planet Entertainment.

Parking;  There is metered street parking available nearby, but it is mostly 2 hour limit parking. There are Parking lots located at 20th and Telegraph, 18th and San Pablo –both 1 block away, 17th and San Pablo, 17th and Broadway, 19th and Franklin – 2 blocks away, and 21st and Broadway – 3 blocks away. Check the signs for hours and rates. The nearest BART is the 19th St Station, 1 block away.

Checking In;  Enter through the loading area off of 18th St. Let Security at the gate (and Stage Door) know that you are a Stagehand with the 107. The IA break room is located down stage left, check in with Eli and sign in on the sheet.

Notes;  The bathrooms are located downstairs, use the ones on the IA break room side (North side) as the others are usually reserved for the talent. Catering is also located downstairs at the front of the building. If there is no set up SR for breaks, you may help yourself to coffee and fruit, but nothing from the buffet. Please be respectful of catering in this building. This is a split house with Rhino Staging Loaders, Hands and House Crew. We also have an agreement with the OSA who provides interns from the school.
