The Paramount Theatre is a 3,040 seat Art Deco movie theater located at 2025 Broadway in downtown Oakland, California, USA. When it was built in 1931, it was the largest multi-purpose theater on the West Coast, seating 3476.

Parking: There is unmetered street parking available on 21st & 22nd on the other side of Telegraph (West) but BEWARE of Car Break-ins in this neighborhood! The parking garage across the street (accessed from Telegraph) is not cheap (early bird up to $35 or so All Day), and it closes at midnight! If you park on 21st by the stage door be sure to get a parking pass from AnneMarie.
Checking-In: Enter at the “Stage Door” Entrance on 21st Street (between Telegraph and Broadway). Check-in with the Security guard to your right and then go down two flights of stairs to Kurt Dryer’s office and sign in with him as well.
Notes: Restrooms, Catering, Locker rooms (to store your gear) and access to Pit storage are all down in the basement. Dressing rooms are upstairs (Wardrobe cases are lifted via chain hoist in the USL corner of the stage). Front of house is accessed via the 21st St. sidewalk. Trucks are Loaded/Unloaded on 21st St. There is a steep ramp down to the stage (be cautious on the ramp!). There are also Restrooms just off Stage Left.
